Over 8 million users are earning BAT via Brave rewards

Brave Browser has revealed that more than 8 million users now earn Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) via its Brave Rewards. According to its 2021 recap, BAT is the 11th most distributed token by on-chain holders.

Basic Attention Token (BAT) is a token launched in May 2017 and created by Brendan Eich, co-founder of Mozilla and creator of the JavaScript language. Brave is an open-source decentralized advertisement exchange platform, built and operating on the Ethereum blockchain.

BAT is trading at $0.9641, having lost 1% of its value in the last 24 hours.
