The Loopring team announced via Twitter on Friday that it experienced a distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS). The team said while the attack won't impact the security of users' assets, the external services are temporarily unavailable. The Loopring team informed its community on Sunday that while funds were never at risk during the attack, its services were down for 11 hours.

Loopring aims to build an open protocol for scalable, non-custodial, orderbook-based exchanges on Ethereum by leveraging zero-knowledge proofs. LRC, Loopring’s native token, is down by more than 8% today and is trading at $0.3378 at press time.
