Chainlink announced via Twitter on Friday that Gunther’s Rich Dog Collection—an NFT collection offering access to the luxurious life of the world’s wealthiest dog—has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on Ethereum mainnet. By integrating the Chainlink VRF, the project now has access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to fairly select NFT rarity tiers for minters. Ultimately this creates a more exciting and transparent user experience, as users have verifiable assurances that the assignment of NFT rarity tiers during the minting process is fair and tamper-proof, the team added.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $6.388 at press time.
