DWF Labs Becomes Klaytn’s Latest Governance Council Member

The Klaytn Foundation announced via a blog post on Tuesday that DWF Labs, a new generation Web3 investor, will be onboarding as Klaytn’s latest Governance Council (GC) member.

The membership comes after their GC membership application(KGP-28) passed on-chain voting with 98% in favor. As a GC member,  DWF Labs will be independently acquiring the 5 million $KLAY required to function as a Core Cell Operator (CCO).

Furthermore, DWF Labs will strategically drive innovation and growth. DWF Labs will collaborate closely with the foundation to act as a bridge to mobilize resources from their portfolio companies, provide guidance and support to help promising projects achieve success, and several other activities. 

Klaytn is a public blockchain developed by Ground X, the blockchain arm of Korea’s internet giant Kakao, with 50 million users worldwide. KLAY is up by 2% in the last 24 hours and now trades at $0.2093 per token.
