Bitcoin Hits $97k as Rally Continues

BTC Hits $97k

Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency by market cap, has continued its rally, hitting the $97k mark in the last 24 hours. BTC set a new all-time high of $97,862 after rallying by more than 4% in the last 24 hours.

The coin has now retraced and currently trades at $96,997 per coin. If the bullish momentum continues, Bitcoin could target the $100k psychological level in the coming hours or days.

Thanks to this rally, the total Bitcoin market cap now stands at $1.92 trillion. This implies that Bitcoin’s dominance level now stands at 60%. 

While Bitcoin is rallying, altcoins are still experiencing mixed performances. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is the best performer amongst the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap, up 17% in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Ether is up less than 1% and now trades at $3,132 per coin. Thanks to Bitcoin’s rally, the total cryptocurrency market cap now stands at $3.18 trillion.
