The Axie Infinity team informed its community via Twitter on Tuesday that Axie Accessories are now live. Every Axie a user releases will gift them one accessory. This first-ever batch of accessories features 20 items of different rarities, Axie Infinity added. Users who release Axies between now and January 3rd will receive limited-edition accessories, the Axie Infinity team added.
Axie Infinity is a Pokémon-inspired digital pet universe built on the Ethereum blockchain, where anyone can earn token rewards through skilled gameplay and contributions to the ecosystem.
AXS, the native token of the Axie Infinity ecosystem, is up by 1% today and currently trades at $6.85.
