On Wednesday, the Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post that it has secured a Money Transmitter License in the state of South Dakota.
South Dakota represents the fifth U.S. state license secured by the company since early 2025, bringing its disclosed domestic portfolio to 13 states. Alchemy Pay now holds active MTLs in Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Wyoming, Arizona, South Carolina, Kansas, West Virginia, and now South Dakota, with additional regulatory progress underway.
This latest license and expanded regulatory coverage further strengthen Alchemy Pay’s ability to support compliant fiat-crypto exchange services. These regulatory efforts will facilitate Alchemy Pay’s RWA platform, which aims to provide the world’s first fiat-to-RWA access, enabling everyday users to purchase tokenized stocks using fiat currencies and familiar payment methods.
Alchemy Pay is a payment system focused on retail transactions at the point of sale and peer-to-peer remittance. Users can make payments using fiat, stablecoins, and other cryptocurrencies on traditional payment systems. Alchemy Pay’s ACH token is down 3% in the last 24 hours and trades at $0.01044.
