On Thursday, Aave Labs announced via X that Aave is now live on Plasma, the stablecoin infrastructure for a new global financial system. Plasma is a high-performance, scalable, and secure blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins.

The initial list of assets for this market includes USD₮, USDe, sUSDe, XAUt, WETH, and weETH.

Aave protocol is a decentralized, open-source, and non-custodial money market protocol. Depositors earn interest by providing liquidity to lending pools, while borrowers can obtain overcollateralized loans by using the liquidity from these pools. AAVE is trading at $262.52 per token, up 0.3% in the last 24 hours.
