Zebpay is a coin exchange with headquarters in Singapore. It was previously based in India but following India’s ban on cryptocurrency exchanges, Zebpay moved its operations. Zebpay operates in 132 countries and has been in the business of cryptocurrencies since 2014. The platform has more than 3 million users globally and $2 Billion in fiat to crypto transactions, making it one of the bigger exchanges around.

Ever since Zebpay was born in, and also managed to become the biggest cryptocurrency exchange of, India, the exchange has been deeply committed towards advancing the crypto community. In the spirit of setting crypto free, it has announced “zero-fee trading” for their users worldwide (more on that below). This Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange also offers a decent selection of altcoin trading pairs. This means that you can trade all of the biggest altcoins here as well.

The team behind this exchange believes in unleashing the full potential of this paradigm changing innovation, cryptocurrency. It was one of the first bitcoin exchanges in the world to start batched transactions.

Lately, Zebpay has also promoted that it offers its users a “stress free” trading experience. With stress free, they mean that they have security arrangements in place so that users don’t have to feel that they are worried about their assets getting stolen or lost.

Furthermore, to our understanding, Zebpay was the first global cryptocurrency exchange to support Lightning Network withdrawals. This means that Zebpay customers from around the world can use their respective BTC balances on their respective Zebpay wallets to make instant payments by utilizing the Lightning Network.

This exchange is not open to citizens or residents from the United States of America. If you are a resident or citizen of any state in the U.S. and you’re looking for the trading platform that is just right for you, don’t worry. Use our Exchange Finder to find an appropriate exchange accepting investors such as yourself.

Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading view at Zebpay:

In the vision this exhcange calls “SetCryptoFree”, it has recently materially changed its trading fee policy to one of the best there if. Previously, Zebpay charged 0.25% for takers and 0.20% for makers. This was in line with industry average which is arguably around 0.25% per order.

However, today, the exchange doesn’t charge any trading fees at all – i.e. 0.00% per order, regardless of which cryptocurrency you trade. This trading fee level is not conditional upon users having any minimum balances in their wallets, and there are no limits to the amount of trades users can make per day either.

In conclusion, the trading fees charged at this exchange are indeed very competitive and consumer friendly.

This exchange charges 0.0006 BTC when you withdraw BTC in India. This fee is quite in line with the global industry average (being 0.00057 BTC), so it shouldn't discourage any potential traders from trading here. Moreover, if you withdraw crypto to any other place than India, you don't have to pay any withdrawal fees at all. We're unsure of why this platform has this structure, but it is indeed very competitive (for people residing both inside and outside of India).

This exchange offers wire transfer as a deposit method, but you can’t deposit via credit card.

Zebpay has been incident-free since its inception. Apparently, around 98% of cryptos stored with Zebpay are in cold wallets that are signed using HSM on air-gapped machines that are located in different cities & countries. According to information provided to us here at Cryptowisser, the platform is also constantly tested by security experts both inside and outside Zebpay.
