UPDATE 23 March 2023: While Nevbit still has an active website that's possible to access, the trading volume is so low that we have decided to mark it as dead and move it to our Exchange Graveyard. We feel that it would not be prudent to refer users to a platform where they would have had great difficulties in their order execution.

To find a reliable exchange with better liquidity, just use our Exchange List and we'll help you find the right platform for you.

Nevbit is a Polish centralized cryptocurrency exchange. It has been active since 2014.

The exchange has a trading model that still makes the exchange inaccessible to all investors other than Polish people. This is because they only support trading against the local currency PLN (Polish złoty). They don’t even support coin-to-coin trading (which can be argued to be the essence of cryptocurrency trading).

So if you are a non-Polish investor (or a Polish investor looking to trade coin-to-coin), you’ll have to reconsider your choice of trading venue and choose one of the other top crypto exchanges. Don’t be too sad though, there are many other venues that offer the type of trading this exchange does. Use our Exchange Finder to find out which alternatives you have.

Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the order history and more at Nevbit (but not featuring any order boxes):

This exchange doesn’t charge different fees between takers and makers. Their fee model is instead something we call a “flat fee model”. Nevbit has set their flat fee model at 0.48%, meaning that if you’re a taker in a trade, you pay 0.48%, and if you’re a maker in a trade, you also pay 0.48%.

0.48% is almost double the amount of the industry average. The industry average is arguably around 0.25%. One should consider whether Nevbit has a strong offering to investors in other respects that outweighs the disadvantage of this somewhat higher trading fee.

Finally, we should note here that many exchanges have trading fees that reduce as volumes increase. This means that the exchanges encourages you to trade in higher volumes. The fees listed in this review and in the comparison table are excluding any such volume discounts. For a better view of the trading fee reductions for monthly high volume traders, please refer to the below compilation.

Nevbit Trading Fee Volume Reductions

Nevbit charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.0005 BTC when you withdraw BTC. This fee is below the industry average and thus constitutes somewhat of an advantage against the majority of other top crypto exchanges in the market.

This trading venue offers wire transfer as a deposit method, but you can’t deposit via credit card. The wire transfers can only be in PLN however, so if you don’t have any PLN you need to get those first, and then make the wire transfer. Seems a little unnecessarily complex in our opinion.
