Zoop Secures $15 Million In Funding, To Launch Its Global Platform On Hedera

HBAR Foundation, the development team behind the Hedera blockchain, announced via a blog post on Thursday, that Zoop, the digital celebrity collectibles trading platform, has secured $15M in grants and investments.

Zoop has also partnered with Ready Player Me, the leading platform for cross-game avatars, ahead of its global platform launch on the Hedera blockchain. Through the Hedera network, Zoop platform users will be able to purchase, trade, exchange, and sell digital celebrity collectibles with exceptional speed, traceability, and transparency, the HBAR Foundation added. 

Hedera Hashgraph is distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance.

HBAR is trading at $0.0592 at press time, down by more than 3% over the last 24 hours.
