Sonic Labs, previously known as the Fantom Foundation, announced via X on Monday that Yel Finance will launch on the Sonic blockchain. Yel Finance is a DeFi R&D laboratory focusing on generating smart and real yield for users.

Yel leverages market volatility and arbitrage opportunities to generate real yield on any tradable asset.

Fantom is building a programmable platform on a directed acyclic-graph-based distributed ledger. Its FTM coin is down 3% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.7418.
