The Sandbox announced via a blog post on Thursday that PCCW and HKT are now in the metaverse. The partnership with The Sandbox makes PCCW and HKT the first Hong Kong-based integrated communications, media and technology (CMT) organization to join the metaverse and open a new frontier in the digital world.

The Sandbox is a virtual world built on the Ethereum blockchain, where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences. SAND has lost more than 10% of its value in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $1.2651 per token.
