The Avalanche team announced via a blog post on Monday that Struct Finance, a structured finance protocol for both retail and institutional users, has launched on Avalanche C-Chain.
Struct offers interest rate vaults and a tranching mechanism that lets DeFi users access fixed and variable yield products. This mechanism groups yield-bearing products into distinct “tranches,” each with a different strategy.
Struct's focus on creating and customizing structured products aims to bring products typically reserved for institutions to the on-chain masses. Their aim is to foster effective markets through greater capital efficiency, expansion of strategies, and the creation of more liquid markets. Struct contributes liquidity to other protocols, potentially reinforcing the overall health and robustness of the broader Avalanche DeFi ecosystem.
Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.AVAX is down by 1% so far today and currently trades at $13.31 per coin.
