A first-of-a-kind for the famous British auction house Sotheby’s, with the announcement that it will accept cryptocurrency payments for a lot including a sports memorability non-fungible token (NFT) sale for the first time

A first-of-a-kind for the famous British auction house Sotheby’s, with the announcement that it will accept cryptocurrency payments for a lot including a sports memorability non-fungible token (NFT) sale for the first time

The NFT is a shooting shirt from the late Los Angeles Lakers NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, as he scored a record-breaking 81 points in a 2006 game against the Toronto Raptors. The NFT will be sold alongside the original shirt, which is both authenticated by the National Basketball Association.
