The Polygon team announced via a blog post on Tuesday that Polygon zkEVM is launching on Mainnet Beta.

The Polygon team announced via a blog post on Tuesday that Polygon zkEVM is launching on Mainnet Beta. Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta is permissionless and public–anyone can use it to transact and build. The team added that various infrastructure providers, dApps, and gaming projects are taking advantage of what Polygon zkEVM has to offer and launching on Mainnet Beta from day one.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is down by 5 % in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $1.0386.
