Chainlink announced via Twitter on Monday that it has partnered with the OpenEarth Foundation and UC Berkeley to release a Chainlink carbon pricing oracle that delivers the true social price of carbon to blockchains. The team added that this carbon pricing oracle would enable organizations to better mitigate their climate impact by accurately pricing the social cost of their carbon emissions. The tool will help companies set an internal price for their greenhouse gas emissions. The carbon pricing web tool will help companies understand the concept of carbon pricing and find their internal carbon price and commitment level, and then implement a solution, the team added.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain.  LINK is down by 2% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $6.716 at press time.
