MANTRA Chain has suspended its blockchain operations after identifying an unspecified incident affecting the network, freezing transactions and disrupting deposits and withdrawals.
The Layer 1 blockchain, which focuses on real-world asset tokenization, said it halted the network as a precaution while its engineering and security teams investigate the situation.
The announcement coincided with a sharp decline in the MANTRA token, which dropped nearly 10% over the previous 24 hours.
MANTRA Freezes Transactions and Network Endpoints
In a statement on X, the MANTRA team said it had become aware of an incident affecting the blockchain and suspended network activity while conducting an investigation.
We're aware of an incident affecting MANTRA Chain and have halted the chain as a precaution while we investigate. All endpoints and transactions are currently frozen.

This means deposits and withdrawals to/from MANTRA Chain are temporarily affected. If you're unsure how this…
“All endpoints and transactions are currently frozen,” the team said.
The halt prevents users from completing transactions on the network and affects deposits and withdrawals to and from MANTRA Chain.
Users have been advised to avoid initiating transactions until the team provides additional information.
The nature of the incident has not been disclosed, and MANTRA has not confirmed whether it involves a security breach, technical malfunction, or another operational issue.
According to MANTRA’s official status page, the project’s engineering and security teams are working with external partners to investigate the incident.
The company has also notified exchanges and ecosystem partners, requesting that they pause transactions involving its native token until the issue is resolved.
MANTRA said it has not yet identified the root cause or established a timeline for restoring normal network operations.
The Block reported that it had contacted MANTRA for comment.
MANTRA Token Slides Nearly 10%
The network disruption has weighed on MANTRA’s token price. The token declined 9.9% over the past 24 hours to $0.004406 as uncertainty surrounding the incident and the network’s recovery timeline increased.
With transactions frozen and exchanges asked to suspend token-related activity, market participants are likely to watch for updates regarding the cause of the disruption and any potential impact on user funds or network infrastructure.
MANTRA has not announced that user funds were compromised.
The incident arrives during an important transition for MANTRA. In June, the project announced that Inveniam Capital Partners would acquire the platform, with the transaction expected to close during the third quarter of 2026.
The acquisition follows a difficult period for the project, including the collapse of its token in 2025 and subsequent corporate restructuring and layoffs.
The latest network shutdown adds another challenge as MANTRA works to restore confidence and complete its planned ownership transition.
