On Monday, the LayerZero team announced via X that LayerZero now powers DeFi expansion on Katana, a DeFi chain built by the Katana Foundation and incubated by Polygon.

Thanks to this latest development, builders can now tap into Katana's real yield strategies and deep liquidity across 130+ chains

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $1.784, down 1.4% in the last 24 hours.
