KuCoin, the leading cryptocurrency exchange, reaffirms its dedication to corporate social responsibility by donating $100,000 to support meaningful causes during the "KuCoin Green Future Gala Dinner" held on December 4th at the Spice Ballroom, Atlantis, The Palm resort in Dubai. This initiative aligns with the objectives of the COP28 United Nations Climate Conference and showcases KuCoin's commitment to promoting sustainable development within the industry.

The gala event, attended by 200 guests from various countries, marked a significant step in KuCoin's philanthropic journey. CEO Johnny Lyu delivered an impassioned speech underscoring the importance of social welfare and announced the donation to three impactful organizations: Global CSR Foundation, American Medical Women's Association (AMWA), and the African Children’s Solar Lamp Project, represented by esteemed figures such as H.E. Ann Marie Davis, the First Lady of the Commonwealth of Bahamas, and leaders from the recipient organizations.

KuCoin's CEO expressed the exchange's dedication to social welfare initiatives and emphasized its role as the "People's Exchange." The donation supports three distinct projects:

1. Climate Change CSR Initiative: KuCoin contributes to ensuring basic health protection for pregnant women, infants, and children worldwide, safeguarding them from the threats of pollution, deadly diseases, and extreme weather due to climate change.

2. American Medical Women’s Association Menstrual Equity Project: This initiative focuses on aiding young girls and women in socially disadvantaged communities globally, enabling them to pursue education and daily life with dignity and confidence.

3. African Children’s Solar Lamp Project: KuCoin supports the provision of solar lights to school-age children in rural areas of Africa, enabling them to continue learning at night and illuminating their future. This initiative aligns with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
