The Chainlink team announced via Twitter on Monday that Everest — a full-stack platform and licensed custodian — has become a data provider on the network. Everest is now using the Chainlink decentralized oracle network to supply novel identity data to dApps across the blockchain ecosystem. By using Chainlink, Everest now securely delivers data to on-chain applications so ecosystem members can verify the following identity statuses: Human and Unique (deduplicated human identities holding wallet addresses), or KYC-d (a verification that this address belongs to a KYC-d individual).

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by more than 2% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $6.041 at press time.
