Chainlink announced via Twitter on Friday that Chainlink Functions s now live on the Avalanche Fuji testnet. This deployment means that Avalanche developers can now securely connect the world's APIs to their smart contracts in minutes.
Chainlink Functions is a serverless developer platform that empowers anyone to easily connect a smart contract to any Web2 API. Avalanche ecosystem developers can combine Chainlink Functions with other high-quality Chainlink services available on Avalanche, including Chainlink Data Feeds, Chainlink VRF, and Chainlink Automation.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 2% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $6.716 at press time.
