The Celo team announced via Twitter on Thursday that Celo is now live on the Axelar Network.

The Celo team announced via Twitter on Thursday that Celo is now live on the Axelar Network. Developers and users across web3 can now use this infrastructure to journey to and from the Celo ecosystem. This partnership will help connect scalable climate action across a unified web3, the Celo team added. 

Celo is an open platform that supports various distributed applications, smart contract development and payments using e-mail addresses and phone numbers as public keys. CELO is up by more than 1% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.582.
