Celer Network is Expanding cBridge Support for Base

On Thursday, the Celer Network announced via a blog post that it has expanded cBridge to bring pool‑based ETH bridging support to Base.  Builders and users can now route ETH between Base and twelve other networks,  including Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Unichain, in a single onchain transaction.

By layering pool‑based ETH bridging on top, cBridge now helps to link Base to other networks, giving builders and users a one‑click path to deep liquidity and cementing Base’s role in an interoperable Superchain future.

Celer is supporting asset and token bridging via the xLiquidity model, a pool-based method, for token transfers between external chains and Base. Additionally, there is potential to integrate Celer’s Inter-chain Messaging Framework, a generic message passing protocol, to seamlessly enable developers to build dApps with cross-chain application logics on Base in the future.

Celer Network is an interoperability platform that supports cross-chain fund transfers and generic message passing. CELR, the native token of Celer Network, is up 5.3% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.00771.
