Much has changed since the very first Pizza Day. Thirteen years ago Laszlo Hanyecz, an early adopter of Bitcoin, used 10,000 BTC to buy two pizzas from Papa John’s.

Today those 10,000 BTC would be worth more than $248,221,600.00

Now, thirteen years later, cryptocurrency exchanges such as KuCoin are celebrating Bitcoin Pizza Day with special promotions.

Investors interested in the promotion can read our KuCoin review for more details on how to sign up.

Bitcoin has gone through a lot over the last thirteen years. Including growing in value. At the time, 10,000 BTC were worth roughly $30.

Following the boom during the early days of the pandemic, and the subsequent market correction, it seems that once again investors are bullish on Bitcoin, as we head towards the expected halving in 2024.
