Binance, in collaboration with Taiwan's Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) in Taipei, organized a one-day training program on June 8.
The training program, led by experts from Binance's Law Enforcement Training and Investigation team, was attended by over 200 law enforcement officers both in-person and virtually. It covered various subjects such as cryptocurrency-related crime trends, investigation techniques, and case studies highlighting Binance's collaboration with law enforcement agencies in addressing cybercrime.
Damien Ho, Global Partnerships at Binance, expressed the importance of ensuring the safety and comfort of cryptocurrency users in Taiwan due to the increasing interest in this field.
Jarek Jakubcek, Head of Law Enforcement Training at Binance, emphasized Binance's commitment to user protection and emphasized the importance of proactive engagement with law enforcement agencies globally.
Binance launched the Global Law Enforcement Training Program in September 2022, the first of its kind in the industry. Within the first five months of 2023, they have conducted over 50 training sessions, both in-person and remote. The demand for specialized training in combating cryptocurrency-related crimes has increased alongside the global interest and adoption of cryptocurrencies.
