The company’s digital assets team are working on the launch of a cryptocurrency payments option, as well as the creation of NFTs that can be used in cinemas. The company now has a presence on the NFT marketplace OpenSea, with various animations, short videos, character artwork and other collectables to be incorporated into the project.
The Cheif Executive of Big Screen Entertainment Kimberley Kates had this to say: “Nothing ever stands still in Hollywood and by making significant inroads into this new financial system, we are planning for a dynamic and profitable future,” and spoke of the opportunities available in the crypto-art space “The space where art meets technology has many broad opportunities especially for Big Screen.”
