On Wednesday, Aave Labs announced via X that Canada’s largest digital asset custodian, Balance, has integrated Aave. Thanks to this integration, Clients of Balance can now lend their assets and earn yield through Aave on assets held in offline or warm storage.

Aave protocol is a decentralized, open-source, and non-custodial money market protocol. Depositors earn interest by providing liquidity to lending pools, while borrowers can obtain overcollateralized loans by using the liquidity from these pools. AAVE is trading at $160.33 per token, up 2.14% in the last 24 hours.
