AmericanFortress Raises $8M Seed Round, Files Patent for Quantum-resistant Blockchain Security

AmericanFortress, the company building what it calls a “Universal Privacy Layer” for blockchain, has closed an $8 million seed funding round co-led by SAVA Digital Asset Fund, Moon Pursuit Capital, and 0G Labs, while also filing a patent for a quantum-resistant cryptographic transaction signing system.

AmericanFortress Closes $8m Seed Round

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, the team said the funding and patent filing come as concerns mount across the crypto industry over the long-term risks quantum computing poses to existing blockchain security systems.

Most major blockchains, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, rely on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) to secure wallets and validate transactions. However, sufficiently advanced quantum computers running Shor’s algorithm could theoretically derive private keys from exposed public keys, potentially compromising millions of blockchain wallets.

AmericanFortress said its newly filed patent introduces a quantum-resistant public derivation scheme compatible with post-quantum signature systems.

The company plans to license the technology to blockchains seeking additional protection against quantum-based attacks, describing the solution as an “easy retrofit” for existing networks.

According to the company, the technology would make every Send-to-Name™ transaction quantum-safe while extending post-quantum protection to both human users and AI agents operating on supported chains.

AmericanFortress has positioned itself as a full-stack privacy and security infrastructure provider for blockchain ecosystems, combining human-readable wallet names, stealth address privacy, zero-knowledge balance confidentiality, built-in compliance tools, and post-quantum transaction security into a single cross-chain system.

The newly raised capital will support the deployment of the company’s privacy infrastructure and preparations for its planned $AF token generation event, targeted for the second quarter of 2026.

“We invented Send-to-Name™ to make crypto as easy and safe as sending a Venmo,” said Michal Pospieszalski, CEO of AmericanFortress. “Now, with this patent filing, we’re adding a layer of security that protects every transaction against the quantum threat horizon.”

Michael Heinrich, CEO of 0G Labs, said post-quantum blockchain security is becoming an immediate priority for the industry rather than a distant concern.

0G Labs is the creator of the blockchain for AI agents — a modular, AI-native infrastructure stack comprising 0G Chain (EVM L1), Compute Network, Storage (up to 2 GB/s throughput), and Data Availability layer (50,000x faster and 100x cheaper than Ethereum DA).

Backed by $290M in funding from Hack VC, Delphi Digital, OKX Ventures, Samsung Next, and 100+ ecosystem partners, including Chainlink, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud, 0G launched its Aristotle Mainnet in September 2025.

The 0G Foundation drives innovation and growth within the 0G ecosystem. It maintains the decentralized AI operating system fueled by $0G, supporting ecosystem development and community governance.

AmericanFortress is building the Universal Privacy Layer for the blockchain economy. Its patented FortressNames™ Send-to-Name system enables compliant, non-mixing transaction privacy across any chain, token, and asset for humans and AI agents alike.
