Korea Blockchain Week 2024 to Take Place from September 1-7

FACTBLOCK and HASHED have announced that this year’s Korea Blockchain Week will take place in Seoul, from September 1-7.

The Korea Blockchain Week 2024 (KBW2024) is set to take place e in Seoul, Korea from September 1-7, 2024. The event, which was founded and hosted by FACTBLOCK and co-hosted by HASHED will be taking place for the 7th year. 

According to the press release shared with Cryptowisser, the organizers said the flagship two-day conference, ‘KBW2024: IMPACT’, will be held at the Seoul Grand Walkerhill Hotel on September 3-4, 2024, as part of this week-long festival. 

KBW: IMPACT is known for showcasing the latest advancements in blockchain technology. This year’s event is set to feature an impressive lineup of industry luminaries and thought leaders.  

In the past, IMPACT played host to speakers such as Ethereum founder, Vitalik Buterin, Sandy Peng from Scroll Tech, Sandeep Nailwal from Polygon Labs, Jang Hyun-kook of WeMade, Arthur Hayes of BitMEX, Dan Held of Trust Machines, Pascal Gauthier of Ledger, and Sergei Nazarov of Chainlink and more. These speakers brought a wealth of knowledge and experience, offering invaluable insights into the evolving world of blockchain technology. 

This year’s KBW will focus on focus on pivotal blockchain themes like Infrastructure Development, Tech Stack, and Cultural Engagement, offering deep dives into the industry's future. 

Attendants should expect dynamic discussions, keynotes, and hands-on Web3 experiences. Key sessions during the event will cover the Web2 to Web3 transition, with an emphasis on finance and blockchain integration. 

While commenting on this latest development, FACTBLOCK CEO Seon-ik Jeon emphasizes said the future of blockchain technology stands at a crossroads of inevitable innovation. He added that,

KBW2024 is set to explore diverse blockchain aspects, from digital asset adoption to institutional involvement. Some of these aspects include exploring the latest trends in blockchain infrastructure development, discussing technology-centric topics with researchers, examining cultural development in human society through Web3 products such as NFTs and blockchain games, providing Web3-specific business insights such as crypto-native Go-to-Market strategies, sharing consumer-facing applications such as DeFi and socialFi projects, and evaluating traditional finance's integration and sentiment with blockchain. 

The organizers added that attendees will get to enjoy KBW2024: IMPACT as an enhanced conference experience, boasting an expanded array of booths and a plethora of interactive functions. 

Last year’s KBW2023 attracted more than 30,000 attendees across major events such as IMPACT, The Gateway: Korea, and Micro Seoul: SeoulBound.
