FOLKS by Folks Finance Goes Natively Multichain with Wormhole NTT

On Thursday, the Wormhole team announced via a blog post that Folks Finance has integrated Wormhole's NTT (Native Token Transfers) to launch FOLKS as a natively multichain token on Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Polygon, and Sei. This expansion enables the protocol's governance token to function as a unified asset across all supported chains, supporting Folks Finance's vision of seamless cross-chain DeFi while eliminating liquidity fragmentation.

By leveraging Wormhole's NTT standard, Folks Finance ensures that FOLKS exists as a single, native asset across all 7 supported chains, thereby mitigating the risks and user friction associated with wrapped tokens. With NTT, Folks Finance maintains full control over FOLKS' behavior on each chain, including aspects such as customizability, metadata management, and ownership or upgradeability.
