UPDATE 26 April 2021: Vebitcoin has closed down. They announced this information through the following message posted on its domain:

"Due to the recent developments in the crypto money industry, our transactions have become much more intense than expected. We regret to state that this situation has led us to a very difficult process in the financial field. We have decided to cease our activities in order to fulfill all regulations and claims. We will inform you as soon as possible."

Accordingly, we have marked this exchange as "dead" and moved it into our Exchange Graveyard.

To find a reliable exchange where you can start an account, just use our Exchange Filters and we'll help you find the right platform for you.

Vebitcoin is another one of the Turkish coin exchanges. As you know if you’re from Turkey, Turkey has a surprisingly large number of cryptocurrency exchanges. Bithesap is one of them, but there are 7 others (in addition to Bithesap and Vebitcoin).

US-investors may probably trade here. However, as the site only comes in the Turkish language, foreign investors might actually find it quite difficult to trade here. This is why we have marked this exchange as “not suitable” for e.g. US-investors.

This exchange is owned by Turkish company Vebitcoin Teknoloji A.Ş. The circumstance that the name of the owning company is listed on the website of the exchange doesn’t make it “scam-proof”. But it does provide some level of comfort at least.

Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading view at Vebitcoin:

Vebitcoin Trading View

This trading venue offers a flat trading fee of 0.20%. This means that the exchange does not distinguish between takers and makers. For investors who prefer to pick-up existing orders from the order book, this might be an attractive trading fee model. 0.20% is also below both the global industry average and the domestic industry average. Domestically, looking only at the 9 Turkish cryptocurrency exchanges we list on our site, the average taker trading fee is namely 0.27%.

Vebitcoin charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.0009 BTC when you withdraw BTC. This is slightly above the global industry average for BTC-withdrawals, arguably being around 0.0006 BTC per BTC-withdrawal (at least they were the last time we at Cryptowisser's did the empirical research).

This exchange offers wire transfer as a deposit method, but you can’t deposit via credit card.
