UPDATE 9 February 2022: This exchange is - for good reason - suspected to be a scam exchange. There are several independent sources reporting the same thing:

Moreover, the researchers from Cryptowisser.com have been blocked from accessing the website.

Accordingly, we have marked the platform as "dead" in our Exchange Graveyard

To find a reliable exchange where you can start an account, just use our Exchange Filters and we'll help you find the right platform for you.

Crex24 is an Estonian cryptocurrency exchange. It launched in 2017.

The company behind this exchange is Crex24 OÜ (reg. number 14419665). The fact that the exchange publically displays the name of its owning corporation provides some comfort to its traders. When an exchange displays a company with company details on its website, we believe it makes it less likely that the exchange has fraudulent intentions.

Crex24 offers trading in a quite large selection of trading pairs. You can find all of the biggest cryptocurrencies here, but not only that. The exchange also offers trading in a lot of small to medium-sized cryptocurrencies.

The exchange promotes four advantages of its platform on its website: low commission rates, security, growing functionality and that you can deposit fiat currency. All of these factors are of course very helpful to the cryptocurrency traders.

Crex24 Four Advantages

This exchange is not open to citizens or residents from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada or Israel. If you are a resident or citizen of any of these countries and you’re looking for the trading platform that is just right for you, don’t worry. Use our Exchange Finder to find an appropriate exchange accepting investors such as yourself.

Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the trading views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading view at Crex24:

Another very interesting feature with this exchange is that they have their own faucets. With this faucet, users can easily ask to receive specific cryptocurrencies entirely free of charge. Naturally, the number of requests you can make is time-limited. The time intervals range from 5 minutes (meaning you can make a new request every 5 minutes) up to 1 day. The layout is as set out below:

Every trade occurs between two parties: the maker, whose order exists on the order book prior to the trade, and the taker, who places the order that matches (or “takes”) the maker’s order. This exchange charges takers 0.10% in trading fees for both takers and makers (with slight variations from trading pair to trading pair). Accordingly, the exchange has what we call “flat fees”.

0.10% is quite in line with the global industry average (arguably being 0.10% - 0.20%).

Crex24 charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.00148 BTC when you withdraw BTC. This fee is extremely high. In particular considering that the global industry average BTC-withdrawal is only 0.00053 BTC. Crex24's withdrawal fees are more than 100% higher than that...

At Crex24, you can deposit through both wire transfer and credit cards. This can be helpful especially for newer crypto investors.
