On Monday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via X that Tether Gold’s XAUt0 is now live on the Avalanche blockchain. XAUt0 will be the primary infrastructure for tokenized Tether gold on Avalanche.

With this launch, users on Avalanche can now invest in the oldest store of value, integrate gold into DeFi strategies, and redeem digital gold for physical bullion if desired.

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.AVAX is down 1.4% today and currently trades at $29.87 per coin.
