The Zilliqa team announced via X on Wednesday that the mainnet Zilliqa mainnet upgrade to v9.3.0 has been completed.

The Zilliqa team announced via X on Wednesday that the mainnet Zilliqa mainnet upgrade to v9.3.0 has been completed. The network upgrade comes with a wide range of features for users, especially Zilliqa’s migration to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Thanks to this upgrade, Scilla calls are now reflected in the transaction receipt, there is support for EVM transaction types 0x01 and 0x02, various performance improvements and bug fixes, and the header hash parameter has been implemented to improve mining efficiency. 

Zilliqa (ZIL) is one of the world’s first blockchains being built on a sharded architecture and features smart contracts written in the platform’s proprietary programming language: Scilla. ZIL is trading at $0.02314 at press time, down by 11% in the last 24 hours.
