The Immutable X team announced via Twitter on Monday that the Immutable zkEVM Testnet is now live. It comes with exciting features such as enterprise-grade security, massive network effects, lower development costs, and seamless ETH interoperability.

Immutable zkEVM is a dedicated chain for games. It combines the benefits of zk-rollup technology with the power of the Ethereum ecosystem, all while offering access to the entire suite of Immutable gaming products. Existing smart contracts and Solidity code can be migrated directly into Immutable's zkEVM Testnet environment for free, the team added. 

Immutable X is an L2 scaling solution for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on Ethereum, with instant trading, massive scalability, and zero gas fees for minting and trading with shared security with the Ethereum mainnet. IMX is down by 1% today and is trading at $0.6935 at press time.
