Strive purchased another 1,355 bitcoin for approximately $107.7 million last week, bringing its total holdings to 26,355 BTC.
The company paid an average of $79,475 per bitcoin between Sept. 14 and Sept. 18, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. With bitcoin trading around $85,600 on Monday, Strive’s holdings were worth more than $2.25 billion.
The latest purchase keeps Strive in fifth place among publicly traded bitcoin holders, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet and MARA.
Strive Pursues Larger Bitcoin Holders
Strive would need to acquire another 9,223 BTC to exceed MARA’s reported 35,577 BTC holdings, assuming MARA makes no further purchases.
Moving ahead of Twenty One would require another 17,160 BTC. Twenty One currently holds 43,514 BTC, slightly more than Metaplanet’s 43,000 BTC.
With 14 full weeks remaining in 2026, Strive would need to buy an average of roughly 1,226 BTC per week to move past Twenty One by year-end. That calculation assumes both companies’ current holdings remain unchanged apart from Strive’s purchases.
Strive’s latest acquisition coincided with the start of warrant exercises tied to its ASST common stock. Holders exercised nearly 786,000 warrants last week, generating approximately $21.2 million in gross proceeds.
SATA, Strive’s preferred stock, accounted for nearly 58% of the funds raised during the week, according to the report. SATA traded near its $100 par value on Monday.
The mix of common-stock warrants and preferred stock gives Strive additional funding for its bitcoin strategy, while the effect on shareholders depends on the terms and volume of future capital raises.
TD Cowen Raises ASST Price Target
TD Cowen increased its price target for Strive shares from $32 to $44, pointing to faster-than-expected bitcoin accumulation and growth in bitcoin held per fully diluted share.
The firm now forecasts that Strive will hold 32,105 BTC at the end of 2026, up from its previous estimate of 27,156 BTC. Analysts also raised their projected full-year BTC Yield, a measure of bitcoin growth per share, from 54.1% to 70.1%.
ASST shares fell about 1.5% to $29.65 during early Monday trading after reaching $31.50 before the market opened.
Strive’s update came as bitcoin climbed above $87,000 for the first time since January. Rival treasury company Strategy also resumed buying, acquiring 950 BTC to bring its holdings to 846,000 BTC.
