Stardust, a project dedicated to powering games in the metaverse, announced via a press release yesterday that it has adopted Polygon.

Stardust, a project dedicated to powering games in the metaverse, announced via a press release yesterday that it has adopted Polygon. Stardust said it adds Polygon as a blockchain option for game publishers.

The team added that it will also leverage support from Polygon Studios to integrate web3 elements and NFTs into their platforms.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications.

MATIC is up by more than 10% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $1.56.
