Space and Time (SxT), a leading decentralized AI datahouse, has launched its network on a zkSync hyperchain, ensuring that accurate, verifiable and tamper-proof information is transmitted to smart contracts and enterprises.

zkSync welcomes AI data warehouse Space and Time (SxT) as it launches its network on a zkSync hyperchain. zkSync hyperchains provide an open-sourced framework specifically designed for zk rollups and layer-3 networks, enabling the creation of interconnected ecosystems through decentralized sequences that allow for more efficient transaction processing.

In addition to that, hyperchains incorporate hyperbridges, enabling seamless asset and data transfers across different blockchains. Solving the interoperability challenges ensure that zkSync hyperchains streamline transactions, reduce fees and foster a more scalable blockchain ecosystem.

Space and Time (SxT) enables the aggregation and analysis of data which can then be sent back to smart contracts. The platform will deploy as a zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) verifiable compute layer (VCL). thus ensuring that accurate, verifiable and tamper-proof information is transmitted to smart contracts and enterprises.

While commenting on this latest development, Vassilis Tziokas, the head of enterprise business development at Matter Labs, the infrastructure team behind zkSync, said that SxT will be introducing two new novel ideas to zkSync, including “a decentralized data warehouse and the Proof of SQL protocol.”

Tziokas believes that the combination of these ideas will enable zero-knowledge verification queries to ensure that raw data and query results can not be manipulated. He added that,

“We’re excited to partner with SxT and advance our shared vision of offering developers sophisticated, data-driven, cross-chain smart contracts.”

Some new features will be introduced to mark SxT’S launch on zkSync. The features include providing zkSync data from both zkSyncEra and hyperchains to develop on the platform free of charge. This implies that developers will be liable only for the compute that is used to execute queries, without needing to pay for storing and indexing data.

Scott Dykstra, co-founder and chief technology officer of SxT added that,

“Given our commitment to zk, we knew we wanted to leverage a zkEVM as our network’s dedicated settlement layer. zkSync is best-in-class in fulfilling the vision of trustless layer-2s, offering extremely fast and low-cost zk-proven transactions.”

This latest development comes a month after Space and Time introduced Python Data Jobs, enabling developers to accelerate the process of getting data into Space and Time from any offchain source without ever writing code.
