The Polygon team announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Monday that it has partnered with Manta Network, a Modular L2 with ZK-as-a-Service. Manta Network will integrate zkEVM into the Manta Pacific infrastructure for stronger security guarantees and improved user experience.

The Manta Network said it will be built using Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK), an open-source toolkit for building zkEVM L2s. Manta Pacific plans to tap into the interoperable blockspace and liquidity of chains built with Polygon CDK through a trustless ZK bridge to Ethereum, the team added.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is up by 1% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.5295.
