The Polygon Labs team introduced Circle Stark, a fast-proving system that will be incorporated into Plonky3.

The Polygon Labs team introduced Circle Stark via X on Tuesday. Polygon Labs partnered with StarkWare to launch Circle Stark, a fast-proving system that will be incorporated into Plonky3.

The protocol represents a leap forward in scaling blockchains using STARK proofs. This implies that Circle STARK allows Polygon to overcome the limitations of certain prime fields, unlocking the uber-efficient M31 field for STARKs.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is down by 4% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.9482.
