Chainlink announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday that Pancakeswap has integrated Chainlink Data Streams and Automation on Arbitrum to power its prediction markets.

By using Data Streams, PancakeSwap is accessing on-demand, low-latency price data used at the start and end of each prediction round. Pancakeswap will be leveraging Data Streams as its preferred low-latency oracle solution because the service supplies sub-second price resolution, frontrunning protection, decentralized onchain execution via Chainlink Automation, and time-tested infrastructure.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $14.199 at press time.

PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is up by 2% today and is currently trading at $2.480.
