The Pancakeswap team announced via a blog post on Tuesday that it is integrating Chainlink Data Streams and Automation on Arbitrum mainnet. By integrating Chainlink’s low-latency and automation oracle solution, PancakeSwap will be able to access fresh price data on-demand at the start and end of each prediction round for the upcoming launch on Arbitrum.

The team added that the initial integration involves using the following Chainlink Data Streams feeds: ETH/USD, BTC/USD, and ARB/USD. Pancakeswap chose Chainlink Data Streams as its preferred low-latency oracle solution because they supply high-quality data using proven Chainlink infrastructure, which achieves unmatched performance and security even amidst unexpected events, such as exchange downtime, flash crashes, and data manipulation attacks via flash loans.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 2% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $14.217 at press time.

PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is down by 3% today and is currently trading at $2.178.
