Pancakeswap Burns Over $1.5m Worth of CAKE Tokens Last Week

On Monday, the Pancakeswap team told its community via X that it had a net mint of 2.24M CAKE. This comes after AMM V2 burned 137k CAKE ($269k) and AMM V3 destroyed 636k CAKE ($1.25M). Other Sources (Prediction, Perpetual, etc.) burned 91K ($179K).

Meanwhile, PancakeSwap minted 11.9M CAKE and burned 9.6M CAKE tokens, bringing the minted figures to 2.2M CAKE. 

PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is up 1% today and is currently trading at $2.003.
