The Near Protocol announced via a blog post on Monday that it has integrated with Ledger Live, making it easier than ever for NEAR holders to secure their assets using Ledger’s devices and software.

Ledger Live is Ledger’s all-in-one digital asset management app enabling its users to manage and stake an ever-growing range of digital assets from the security and self-custody of their hardware wallets. Thanks to this integration, users can delegate their NEAR tokens to the Ledger by Figment validator, contributing to the protocol’s security while benefiting from coverage against slashing risks, low commission fees and earning rewards from that contribution.

NEAR Protocol is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps similarly usable to those on today’s web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to provide dynamic scalability and stabilize fees.NEAR is trading at $2.288, down by 1% in the last 24 hours.
