The Multichain team announced via Twitter on Thursday that it has integrated with the Near Protocol. The integration will enable thousands of users and developers to interact with the NEAR ecosystem seamlessly and freely with a 0% cross-chain fee charged. The integration enables USDT, USDC, and wBTC, among others, to be bridged between NEAR and 15 other chains, including Ethereum, Polygon, BNB, Arbitrum, and Avalanche.

Multichain, previously known as Anyswap, is a decentralized cross-chain swap protocol and bridge infrastructure. The Multichain platform supports multiple blockchains, which enables users to swap and bridge tokens across numerous chains on one platform.

MULTI, the native token of the Multichain ecosystem, is up by 1% in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $4.14.

NEAR Protocol is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps similarly usable to those on today’s web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to provide dynamic scalability and stabilize fees.NEAR is trading at $1.753, up by more than 2% in the last 24 hours.
