On Thursday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via X that Mirae Asset Global Investments, one of Asia’s largest asset managers, signed an MOU with Ava Labs to pioneer fund tokenization and on-chain fund operations.
The collaboration will explore tokenizing funds in the U.S., Hong Kong, and other regulated markets. The initiative focuses on three areas:

Fund tokenization research (fractional ownership, accessibility, settlement)

Institutional integration with Avalanche’s partner network, and

Pilot projects like on-chain portfolio management platforms
