On Friday, the LayerZero team announced via X that Citrea has selected LayerZero as its canonical interoperability provider.

On Friday, the LayerZero team announced via X that Citrea has selected LayerZero as their canonical interoperability provider. Citrea enables Bitcoin to function as a fully programmable platform with ZK. 

This means all assets on Citrea will exist natively as OFTs. Bitcoin Apps (₿apps) on Citrea are now powered by LayerZero

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $2.054, up 3.7% in the last 24 hours.
