Pixie (PIX), social crypto earning enabler, has been listed on KuCoin, offering customers access to invest in a pioneering social crypto app with some 30,000 daily users and growing. Purchasing PIX gives access to an exciting Web3 social media project.
What Is Pixie (PIX)?
The listing of PIX coin gives KuCoin customers unique access to the world’s first social crypto listing on a cryptocurrency exchange. Pixie is a web3 social media platform, allowing users the opportunity to earn cryptocurrency and keep ownership of their data, offering the first fully operational product to support the innovative SocialFi concept.
Crypto businesses have been revolutionizing the space in the last few years, with the emergence of dedicated earning platforms, GameFi, and now SocialFi. Pixie fits into the category of SocialFi, a first-of-its-kind crypto-based photo, and video-sharing social network.
Pixie is similar to other popular social media platforms, such as TikTok and Instagram. However, it features one key difference: it doesn’t use customers’ data for financial gain through ads and other means to make a profit.
In keeping with the philosophy of the first blockchain projects, encompassing decentralized finance (DeFi), Pixie aims to protect customers' data and give customers autonomy. The Pixie app is available via the Apple App store and Google’s Play store. The start-up is flourishing, having garnered the attention of 220,000 active users at the time of press.
The Pixie App is aimed at allowing customers to share live or scheduled social media content, building engagement with followers. The more active users are, the more PIX tokens they will earn as a reward. All user content is empowered by blockchain technology, meaning customers' rights to digital content are copyright protected.
KuCoin Lists PIX
KuCoin is dedicated to promoting Web3 businesses, and listing PIX mark another step in the right direction for the company. Last month, on the 26th of August, we saw that KuCoin Ventures, the crypto firm’s investment wing, had made a strategic investment in Pixie.
Justin Choi, Chief Investment Officer of KuCoin, commented on the listing, “We are very excited about this in-depth partnership with Pixie to create a crypto creator economy which enables users to own their data and profit from their social activities.”
It will be interesting to see how Pixie progresses, especially now that the project has the support of exchanging the size of KuCoin, helping the company to define the SocialFi concept.
