On Thursday, the LayerZero team announced via X that Built by IQ AI, in partnership with Frax Finance, KRWQ has adopted LayerZero's OFT standard to move everywhere.
KRWQ is Korea’s first multi-chain stablecoin. Each KRWQ token is fully backed 1:1 by won reserves, under a compliant framework designed for institutional adoption. Built on LayerZero’s OFT standard, KRWQ operates as a single native asset that can now expand to over 150 connected blockchains.
KRWQ is live on Ethereum and Base, moveable through Stargate, and tradable on Aerodrome, establishing the first market for the Korean won onchain.
